Antler Chews

Antler Chews

All-natural chews won?t chip or splinter Unlike livestock bones, these chews breakdown slowly and won?t chip or splinter so they?ll hold up to aggressive chewing. These all-natural chews come from a completely renewable source: Deer Antlers. Wild deer shed their antlers once a year as part of a natural process. These antlers are gathered by ranch workers, cleaned, cut to the appropriate size, and packaged. Made with no plastics, no petrochemicals, no empty starches or artificial flavors.

"This product should be used on a small dog
Carefully read the size. I ordered the large and it was too small for my 50 lbs dog.

"Finally a dog-chew item that makes sense - harvested from naturally dropped antlers, no harm done, no nastiness! And they last and last unlike absolutely everything else out there. And they don't make my dog ill which I found, rawhide does. Wish they were cheaper though. But still, thank you."

"I ordered three of the medium sized Antler chews back in December. My dogs have chewed these, on and off, since then, and even though they are described as a product that won't splinter or chip - these have splintered and chipped worse than any other natural item I've ever given my dogs. It seems like they are a lot softer and less durable than marketed, and this could be dangerous for many dogs. I have thrown one away just because it looked way too scary to allow my dogs to chew on anymore, and the others aren't doing much better. They say they are for the aggressive chewer, but obviously they are not. These are unsafe. I would hate for someone to be misled and the dog to get an obstruction due to these antlers not living up to their claim. I'm very disappointed in this product."

"I bought the Antler chews for my pappilloin/jack russell. I opened the package and there was a SHARP piont that could hurt dog+owner. My dog did not exactly like these bones which is amazing as he will chew ANYTHING. If i Had to recommend this I would get the Large bone as the small bone is only 4in long."

"My dogs go through rawhides very quickly and then have nothing to chew. These antler chews hold up very well. They do not splinter or ball/gum up like rawhide. They keep my dogs busy and even though they chew and chew on them they have very little wear and my dogs do not tire of them. They love these and I will be purchasing them again if they ever wear out."

"My dog loved his antler chew but I ended up having to take it away from him. Unfortunately, my dog broke it down into small pieces and it was no longer safe for him. I read that it wouldn't splinter but this one did."

"Finding toys that stand up to the abuse of 100 lb dogs can be a challenge. Yankee has enjoyed gnawing away on the antler, but it's still in great condition. I did expect a heftier section for the price tag. It is about 4" long."

"I ordered 2 of these - both larges - one for my Pit/Greyhound that's a fairly aggressive chewer and another for my destructo-dog (aka Jack Russell). I left the dogs with them in their crates the other day when I had to be gone for 5hrs and I couldn't believe it when I returned and the chews were still there!!! To me this is practically a miracle.

The dogs both seem to like them and I like that they lasted more than 5min. I would like them a whole lot better though if they weren't so expensive.

"My dog loves his Antler Chew. He has been working on it for over a month, and he keeps coming back to it and enjoying it. It does eventually get smaller, but it is extra long-lasting. It is far more durable than a raw hide bone, and my dog is enjoying it as much or more."

"We thought these would be the best thing in a long time; something new to chew, long lasting, from a renewable resource ... well, all the dogs were interested & really liked them, but even though I bought the LARGE size, they crunched down to a little lump that I thought was a choking hazard in about 1/2 hour. They did not splinter, but I had to take them away. I don't think I'd order them again. Maybe they'd be good for little dogs, but not for serious chompers ... back to the butcher!"

"My dog is 6 and for her entire life I've been searching for the perfect chew... Now I've found it. She is picky and isn't interested in chew toys like Nylabones. And she's so aggressive that with any type of "natural" bone (marrow bone, filled bones, granola bones, dino bones, etc.) she is able to break off peices of the bones, which aren't digestable, so I can't give her those either. This has been frustrating, because she loves to chew and its the best way to keep her teeth and gums clean. So when I tried these Antler Chews I was thrilled! She is ENTHRALLED by the antlers, they don't stink like hooves or bully sticks, and rather than breaking or splintering, they simply wear away. They are extremely hard, so her gums do bleed a littlle if I let her chew for too long, but that means that her teeth are being cleaned, which is great! The only thing I would pass along is that they are smaller than you might think - I ordered a large for my 60 lb. dog and its only about 5-5 inches long."
