Program is used for the prevention and control of flea populations. Lufenuron controls flea populations by preventing the development of flea eggs and does not kill adult fleas. "This is the greatest flea control product ever invented, as far as I'm concerned. One easy dose per month, mixed in my cats' favorite canned food, and the fleas are GONE. Because Program doesn't kill the adults, you initially need to use an oral or topical product that does, in conjunction with the Program. I was able to continue with just the Program after that. There are no fleas on my cats at all now, and I haven't seen any signs of them in the house either. If any adult fleas come in on my clothes, I don't get an infestation because they can't breed. I've been using Program for several years and am so happy to see it become available from SmartPak!"
